TECHNICAL INFORMATION

The Honda CVT Overhaul Rebuild Kit provides the primary soft sealing components commonly replaced when rebuilding a CVT transmission.
Gaskets, seals and O-rings are critical to maintaining proper hydraulic pressure inside the transmission.
As these components age, heat cycles and transmission fluid contamination can cause seals to harden, shrink, crack or lose their ability to maintain proper hydraulic pressure.
Possible transmission symptoms can include:
• Transmission fluid leaks
• Delayed Drive engagement
• Delayed Reverse engagement
• CVT slipping
• Shudder or hesitation
• Hydraulic pressure loss
• Abnormal shifting behavior
• Internal seal leakage
• Poor acceleration
• Transmission performance problems
These symptoms do not automatically mean an overhaul kit will correct the problem.
A complete transmission diagnosis should be performed before disassembly.
Professional installation is strongly recommended.
